The nuclear family is the basic and most natural family form people can think of. It has many advantages because it has a parent/guardian at work and another parent/guardian at home, giving the benefit of someone to watch them while at home. As roles in women are changing, mothers are entering the work force and family time is decreasing. The "homemaker" parent is now not as available as it used to be.
